Dr. Prasobh Stalin
Dr. Prasobh Stalin took training in ENT from BJGMC and Sassoon Hospital Pune and Rajawadi Hospital, Mumbai under the guidance of eminent ENT specialists and was the Head of the Department, ENT and Head Neck surgery at LITTLE FLOWER HOSPITAL AND RESEARCH CENTRE, ANGAMALY till Oct 2025. During the tenure as HOD from 2020 to 2025, he SUCCESSFULLY TREATED KERALA’S FIRST reported COVID ASSOCIATED
MUCORMYCOSIS RESTORING THE VISION completely. Many more patients during the time period came all over from India to seek his treatment and all were cured of the disease with zero mortality recorded.
- There were MULTIPLE SUCCESS STORIES OF ENDOSCOPIC SKULL BASE REPAIR,
ORBITAL , facial nerve AND OPTIC NERVE DECOMPRESSION. For added precision, he introduced the use of bone CUSA, which is again a first in Kerala. - He is one among the PROMOTER OF NEW TECHNIQUE OF TITANIUM MESH BASED LATERAL
SKULL BASE REPAIR.
His special interests also include Head Neck Cancer Surgeries and he has performed multiple tongue cancer resection surgeries with reconstruction. All patients now live with the preserved function of speech and swallowing. Other areas of interest include pediatric ENT, surgeries for snoring in children, thyroid surgery (including total thyroidectomy for cancer), surgery for correction of ear discharge and loss of hearing (mastoidectomy & tympanoplasty), endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), micro laryngeal surgery (voice) . He is one among the pioneers to start Coblator assisted surgeries in Kerala.
